Arko III ( V. Argentinus)
Tignanello Ducaet is a son of Diamant de Sémilly (V. Le Tôt de Sémilly ) and of Lady Bird Ducaet, the full sister of Kahlúa Ducaet (V. Arko III - M. Génépi Ducaet - VM. Parco ), the very successful showjumping horse under Sanna Olsson (Sweden).
The father of Tignanello Ducaet, Diamant de Sémilly, has an impressive record: at the World Championships in Jerez de la Frontera in 2002 he won team gold under Eric Levallois and also in 2003 he won the European Championships in Donauschingen. In 2005 he won the Grand Prix of Saint-Lô, and a week later the Grand Prix of Caen.
Diamant de Semilly belongs to the new generation of stallions of the famous French showjumping horse breeding. Sire Le Tôt de Sémilly is considered to be one of the best Grand Veneur sons in breeding. The descendants of Diamant de Sémilly excel by their ability, fantastic attitude, strong and healthy constitution, sublime canter and beautiful suppleness.
The mother of Tignanello Ducaet is Lady Bird Ducaet.
Her father Arko III comes from the same dam line as the number one in the world, Darco. The father of Arko III was the world-famous Argentinus. Arko III was the showjumping horse with the most wins in the world for three consecutive years. From his impressive records, we'd like to underscore the following highlights: he defended the colors of Great Britain at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004, he won the Dubai Classic and achieved a second place in the Grand Prix of Dubai in 2006. He triumphed in both the CSIO Grand Prix of Rome and the CSIO Grand Prix of Lucerne and won the prestigious Grand Prix of Calgary, Canada. Thanks to his achievements, his owners were proclaimed "Winning Owners" for two consecutive years. His descendants all stand out because of their exceptional technique on the jump.
