Louis Quatorze Ducaet is a son of Nabab de Rêve (V. Quidam de Revel) and Truus (V. Lys de Darmen). He was broken in at a later age and is now ridden by Johan Bergs (The Netherlands). He still needs some time, but is making promising progress. He is gifted with a very pleasant, very accommodating character and of course with the jumping ability that characterizes him on both father's and mother's side. He will become an ideal partner for a starting junior and / or for a demanding amateur with ambition.
The sire of Louis Quatorze Ducaet is the super breeding sire Nabab de Rêve (V. Quidam de Revel). This icon from Belgian breeding collected an endless series of international victories for the Belgian team with Philippe Le Jeune. His children had the same power and golden character. His best-known son is Vigo d'Arsouilles, who won team bronze for Belgium at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky, USA in 2010 with Philippe Le Jeune and who also became individual world champion there.

On the mother's side, Louis Quatorze Ducaet descends from Lys de Darmen, one of the best bloodlines in the history of the Belgian Warmblood Studbook (BWP). Lys de Darmen was therefore highly appreciated by Ambassador BWP and thus entered the gallery of the greatest in the BWP studbook.

The grandmother of Louis Quatorze Ducaet on his mother's side, Nova Zembla Ducaet, has the typical characteristics of the breeding mares of Studfarm Ducaet: she combines the blood of best European dressage and jumping horses on both mother's and father's side.
She is a daughter of Alcatraz who combines the best dressage and showjumping blood of European warmblood breeding: Angelo XX - Paradox I. Crowned relatives of Alcatraz include Ahlerich, the dressage horse of the century unther Dr. Reiner Klimke , Amon unther Annemarie Sanders-Keyser and Rembrandt unther Nicole Uphoff.
On her mother's side, Nova Zembla Ducaet combines the enormous jumping ability and the very good movements of Goldschlaeger Z, Gotthard and Eratosthenes xx.
