Wilma Ducaet
Mylord Carthago (V. Carthago Z)
Parco (V. Darco)
Wilma Ducaet is born of a rich and proven sporting lineage — a daughter of Génépi Ducaet and Mylord Carthago.
Her dam line carries the influence of Parco (by Darco), a stallion who became nothing less than an icon of international show jumping. Under Ludo Philippaerts, Parco was for years a mainstay of the Belgian teams, with top placings at the Olympic Games, the European Championships, and in World Cup competition, along with victories at CSI5* level — widely regarded as the most successful approved son of Darco.
Darco himself remains one of the most influential jumping stallions of the twentieth century, his name attached to a long line of international champions and sires. Alongside sporting quality, this dam line carries technique, scope, and offspring of genuine international promise.
Wilma's sire line runs through Mylord Carthago (by Carthago Z), a stallion whose own enormous scope, style, and temperament carried him to the highest international podiums under Pénélope Leprevost. From his sire, Carthago Z, he inherited both the stylish, technically assured foundation and the sporting power and temperament that he now passes to his own offspring — a legacy that has made him a successful stallion in his own right since retiring from competition.
Wilma Ducaet embodies refinement paired with sporting potential: a marriage of classical show jumping bloodlines and contemporary performance, rooted in tradition yet firmly looking toward the sport's future.
Wilma Ducaet
Wilma Ducaet takes her name from Wilma Flintstone, of the classic animated series The Flintstones — the poised, stylish counterweight to her husband, Fred Flintstone. Fred, for his part, is impulsive, boisterous, warm-hearted, and prone to acting before thinking; his enthusiasm and bravado are endearing, if they do land him in comic trouble more often than not.
Wilma, by contrast, is calm, clever, and refined — thoughtful where Fred is impetuous, diplomatic where he is blunt, and the steady hand when he loses his head. Together they strike a dynamic balance between strength and grace, temperament and serenity.
Fred and Wilma Flintstone
The name Wilma Ducaet nods to that same harmony: elegance paired with inner strength, calm alongside energy — a name that unites character with presence.
